Plain version: we store your syllabi and the deadlines we pull out of them, so we can show you a calendar. We don't sell any of it, we don't run advertising trackers, and you can export or delete all of it yourself.

What we store

Your email address. Your password is stored hashed by our sign-in provider and we never see it. Your display name, school name and time zone, if you give them. The syllabus files you upload, and the courses, deadlines, exams and grading breakdowns we extract from them. Scores you enter, to-dos you add, and the availability you tell us about for study scheduling. Notes TT keeps about how you work (you can read and delete every one under Settings → What TT remembers). The reminders we've sent you, and — if you turn reminders on for a device — the delivery address your browser issues for that device, which turning them off removes. And, if you pay, which plan you have and when it ends.

Your files

Uploaded syllabi live in private storage that only your account can reach. We keep them so you can re-read a syllabus if we got something wrong. Delete a course and its file goes with it; delete your account and every file goes.

AI processing

Syllabus text is sent to Anthropic's API to extract structured data. When you ask TT a question, your question and the parts of your planner it needs to answer — your courses, deadlines, grades and notes — are sent the same way. Anthropic does not use this to train its models. Grades, dates and point totals are computed in our own code, never by a model — arithmetic should not be guessed at.

Who handles your data for us

We don't run our own servers. Your data passes through, and is stored by, a small number of providers, each only for the job named here:

Cookies

One cookie keeps you signed in, and one remembers boxes you've closed on the calendar. That is all. No advertising or analytics cookies, and nothing from third parties.

Your calendar feed

If you subscribe your phone's calendar, that URL contains a secret token. Anyone with the link can read your deadlines, so don't share it — and you can revoke and regenerate it any time from Settings.

Connecting your school

If you connect your school, you paste a calendar feed link your LMS generated for you — Canvas, Brightspace, Blackboard or Moodle — or, for live Canvas grades, an access token you created in Canvas. Our servers read these on a schedule to find new and changed assignments and grades. Both are read-only, both can be revoked at your school or disconnected here, and we never ask for your school password or sign in as you. Both are secrets, so they are stored encrypted with a key only our servers hold and are never shown again after you paste them.

Age

TT Planner is for students aged 13 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger; if that has happened, email us and we'll delete it.

Deleting your account

Settings → Delete account. It cancels any subscription, removes your database rows and your stored files, and removes you from Stripe. It is immediate and it is not recoverable. You can export everything as JSON first, from the same screen.

Contacting us

Email support.ttplanner@gmail.com for anything — a question, a bug, a request to see or delete your data, or a problem with a payment. You can also export or delete everything yourself from Settings without asking us.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, we never ask for your school password, we never sign in as you, and we don't run advertising trackers. If any of this changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
